Job Description
The Family Intervention and Support Service provides early help to the most vulnerable children, young people and their families to prevent escalation to statutory social care services in Swindon and provide the right help at the right time Swindon is proud to be part of the Supporting Families Agenda. As a family worker you will be excited to learn that you will help our vulnerable families achieve outcomes which will change their life opportunities. You will achieve this through writing holistic family assessments and developing with the families, personalised plans. You will co-ordinate targeted support and will regularly review the plan with the families and partner agencies through the Team around the Child meetings. As we move forward with our development of Community, Family, Youth Hubs as part of Swindon Communities Together, you will work with other flexible and motivated individuals to achieve the best outcomes with children, young people and families.
Pay - £17.46 per hour
