Adult Social Work Team Manager, Independance and Access, Haringey 
£43.70ph 
Role Specific Responsibilities 1. To be familiar with, and responsible for, the dissemination of information on new legislation, guidance, and initiatives on such issues as Safeguarding, Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty, and Continuing Care as it applies to the specific service user group (people with physical disabilities and older people). 2. Chair reviews / planning meetings / case conferences / strategy meetings, as appropriate, to specialised field / service user group / local structures. 3. To participate in management cover arrangements to meet service needs and to deputise for the Head of Service, when required. 4. Ensure the participation and inclusion of service users, their families, and their carers, at all levels of decision-making, promoting consultation and involvement in various forums. 5. Develop joint and integrated services, pathways, policy, and initiatives between partnership agencies and community / mainstream services and other relevant stakeholder organisations, in further developing the multi-agency and integrated nature of the service and service provision. 6. Ensure that assessments of need, care management, care co-ordination and reviews are carried out effectively, in conjunction with other agencies as appropriate, and be responsible for monitoring all aspects of day-to-day practice by team members. Working with the performance team to improve performance both (qualitative and quantitative), as required; 7. To chair and attend team and other meetings as determined by the Head of Service, e.g., Safeguarding Case Conferences. 8. Monitor and audit case files and electronic records and deal with workload management issues as they arise.
