Combi Operator/Loader

Shift: Monday to Friday, 18:00 – 02:30
Hours: 40 Hours per Week (Includes a 30-Minute Paid Break and a 30-Minute Unpaid Break)
Salary: £23,800 - £36,000 per annum
Overtime: Pre-authorised overtime available at time and a half after 40 hours.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Combi Operator/Loader to join our dedicated team in Henstridge. This role involves working night shifts from 18:00 to 02:30, Monday to Friday. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficient handling, collation, and loading of steel products to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to pick and collate steel orders for loading.
• Identify and locate various steel products using appropriate measuring equipment.
• Replenish stock and ensure accurate allocation of materials in racks.
• Unload deliveries and allocate steel to designated locations as required.
• Plan and collate customer orders based on load lists, ensuring accurate and safe loading of lorries.
• Attend all required training courses to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to all safe systems of work and health & safety guidelines at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a similar role or environment is preferred but not essential.
• A strong team player with excellent attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
