Maths Teacher – SEND School – Key Stage 3 & 4
A specialist SEND school is seeking a committed and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to teach small classes of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students with Moderate Learning Difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Maths Teacher who wants to make a genuine difference, helping young people overcome barriers to education and achieve success in a supportive learning environment.

As a Maths Teacher in this school, you will deliver engaging, accessible and highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs. You will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants and a strong leadership team who are committed to inclusive practice and staff development.

The Role:

• Teaching Maths to small classes of KS3 & KS4 students with Moderate Learning Difficulties
• Planning and delivering creative, differentiated and accessible Maths lessons
• Supporting students to build confidence, independence and essential life skills
• Creating a structured and inclusive classroom environment
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and pastoral staff
• Monitoring progress and supporting individual learning targets and EHCP outcomes

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths across KS3 & KS4
• A genuine interest in working within a SEND setting
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and inclusive approach to teaching
