This excellent special school in Birmingham is seeking multiple SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of needs including autism, MLD and complex learning needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in small classes, supporting pupils who benefit from structure, patience and personalised learning. The leadership team is dedicated, supportive and committed to ensuring every member of staff feels valued from day one.

Job role:

• Supporting pupils with autism, MLD and complex learning needs across primary and secondary phases
• Providing classroom support, 1-1 assistance and small-group interventions
• Helping pupils regulate emotions, build confidence and access learning
• Working closely with teachers and other SEN Teaching Assistants to deliver personalised learning
• Creating a calm, nurturing and positive learning environment
• Encouraging independence and celebrating pupil achievements
