Are you a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for an opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs? This warm and welcoming special school in South Birmingham is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team, supporting children with Autism, communication differences, and complex learning needs.#

Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you will help create a positive, nurturing, and structured environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and ready to learn. This role requires patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with special educational needs.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, accessible learning activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Support pupils with communication, sensory, and social development needs.
• Build trusting, supportive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Help prepare learning resources and maintain a calm classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals.
