SEND Teacher – Key Stage 3 & 4 – Complex Learning Needs
Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? This welcoming special school in Solihull is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team, teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students with a range of complex learning needs.

As a SEND Teacher, you will play a key role in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of each learner. You’ll work closely with a skilled team of Teaching Assistants and therapists to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

Job Role:

• Teaching small groups of Key Stage 3 and 4 students with complex learning needs.
• Planning and delivering creative, individualised lessons across the curriculum.
• Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENCO to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
• Supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Creating a positive and structured learning environment that promotes engagement and progress.
• Tracking pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies to meet changing needs.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Primary or Secondary trained.
• Experience teaching students with complex needs, MLD, or other SEND.
• A nurturing and patient teaching style, with a commitment to inclusive education.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to inspire confidence and independence in learners.
