Class Teacher – Special Educational Needs School
This welcoming special school in north Birmingham is looking for a caring, compassionate and creative class teacher to join its amazing team. Job Role:
  • Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons for children with a range of complex learning needs including Autism, Downs Syndrome, Communication Impairments and Physical Disabilities .
  • Teaching a small class of primary aged pupils, with support from skilled teaching assistants.
  • Working closely with the wider school team to implement EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom that supports communication, independence, and social development.
  • Making learning fun, engaging and interactive for pupils the leadership believes that school should be a special place for every child.
  • Contributing to the wider school community and whole-child approach to education.
