Teaching Assistant – KS3 & KS4 – Autism and ADHD Support – Birmingham

Do you enjoy helping young people with Autism and ADHD reach their potential? A forward-thinking SEND school in Birmingham is looking to add an experienced  Teaching Assistant to the team to support Key Stage 3 & 4 students with a range of learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, and MLD.

This role requires a teaching assistant to provide hands-on support for students  in the classroom and during intervention sessions. The successful teaching assistant candidate will be proactive, patient, and committed to helping every child thrive academically and socially in a structured and caring environment.

Job Role:
• Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and MLD in class and through interventions
• Encouraging engagement and promoting positive behaviour
• Adapting learning materials to suit pupil needs
• Working as part of a dedicated SEND team
• Monitoring pupil progress and emotional wellbeing
