Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Wolverhampton
An excellent primary school in Wolverhampton is looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2, delivering interventions, covering lessons, and working closely with teachers to enhance learning experiences.

Job role:

• Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and 2.
• Delivering small-group and one-to-one interventions to boost pupil progress.
• Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assisting with lesson planning and resource preparation.
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum.
• Ability to deliver interventions and support pupils with a range of learning needs.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
