This Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ two-form entry school in Dudley is seeking a dedicated Classroom Assistant to work with small groups of pupils, providing targeted support and helping them reach their full potential.

With excellent behaviour and a strong sense of community, this school is a fantastic environment for both staff and pupils. You will be working closely with class teachers and SEN staff to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences, ensuring that every child receives the support they need.
Job Role:

• Supporting small groups of pupils with their learning in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Helping to differentiate lessons and provide additional support where needed.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and classroom management.
• Working with children who need additional support to build confidence and improve progress.
• Supporting whole class activities, small intervention groups, and one-to-one learning sessions.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Classroom Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or Learning Support Assistant in a primary school setting.
• A caring and patient approach to working with children.
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum and how to support learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
