Youth Worker

Youth Worker – Meadowfield, Durham

£13.68 per hour | Term Time | 9am–2:30pm | 4 or 5 days/week | Start date: 6th June

We’re recruiting a passionate and patient Youth Worker to join an independently owned alternative provision in Meadowfield. The school specialises in supporting secondary-aged students who have been excluded from mainstream education or are at risk of exclusion.

You’ll work with small groups (4–8 students), helping to re-engage them through tailored support, structure, and encouragement. 

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working with young people (desirable)
• A great sense of humour and plenty of patience
• A real drive to help students succeed
• An enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one

This role will run until the end of the academic year, with a strong chance of continuing into the next.
