Head of Landlord Compliance and Building Safety, Bristol 
Pay rate to £700 per day 
Contract role, Local Authority Housing 
 
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Head of Landlord Compliance and Building Safety in Bristol   
You will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority Housing setting. 
Responsible for: 

• Landlord Compliance Commissioning Teams, and indirect matrix responsibility for compliance delivery teams 

• Building Safety Team 

• Residential Safety Programme 

• Responsible and accountable for the development and implementation of safety assurance and audit protocols 

• Lead Housing’s approach to health & safety and associated culture, policies and processes, and discharge corporate health and safety responsibilities as per delegated authorities in partnership with the Corporate H&S Team 

• Responsible for ensuring the organisation’s statutory duties and obligations relating to property compliance are achieved and be the “Responsible Person” and or “Duty Holders” under the various legal 

• Manage frameworks pertaining to H&S and Compliance legislation, acting as main point of contact for the Regulators for these matters. 

• Responsible for taking a proactive and data led approach to landlord compliance which is customer focused, compliant and efficient, i.e. Golden Thread of Building Safety 

• In conjunction with the Director of Property, develop longer term strategies for compliance and health and safety.
