Children's Social Care, Access to Records Officer, Stoke 
Pay rate - £19.39 per hour    
Contract role, Children’s Social Care 
 
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Access to Records Officer in Stoke. You will need experience of a similar role in a Local Authority setting. 
Key Duties: 

• To manage requests for personal information operating in compliance with current legislation.  

• To make initial assessments of requests received for each case  

• Sign post to other services where appropriate  

• Undertake the completion of multi-agency information request and subject access requests adhering to the ICO guidance, GDPR and Data Protection.  

• To work with agencies such as CAFCASS, Courts, Police and Local Authorities. 

• To be able to assess safeguarding risks.  

• Experience required in advising and processing information in compliance with current legislation 

• Ability to work within strict confidentiality guidelines 

• Understanding of statutory and regulatory framework  

• Knowledge of relevant legislation regarding information governance and children’s social care
