Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Senior Disposals Officer in Central Bedfordshire
You will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority Planning setting.
Details: - Provide expert advice and guidance in connection with all property related contractual matters, including legal, analytical and regulatory issues to colleagues, Members and Senior Officers.
- Provide the intelligent client role when working with consultants and other external professionals.
- Support the objectives of the Council’s medium term financial plan by meeting capital receipts targets in accordance with the agreed programme.
- Develop and maintain relationships across the Council, at the highest level where appropriate, to ensure effective delivery of the Council’s priority projects and its day to day business.
- Deliver technical reports, working with third party Experts and Consultants as required, across all aspects of the team’s projects
- You will deliver capital receipts by sale of land and buildings on a freehold or leasehold basis, enhancing value through planning, exploiting market opportunities; in accordance with RICS, CIPFA and constitutional regulations.
