SOUS CHEF
My client is a independent contract catering company whose aim is to bring exceptional quality meals and service using fresh produce at all venues. They are looking for a passionate experienced Sous Chef to join their team at one of their busy B&I venues in Stoke-on-Trent.
As Sous Chef, your duties and responsibilities will be
- Assisting the Head Chef in the running of a smooth service.
- Deputising in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Managing, motivating and developing the large sized team.
- Maintaining the health and safety standards of the kitchen, adhering to company policies and procedures.
The ideal Sous Chef will:
- Have experience as a Sous Chef, or in a similar kitchen management position.
- Have a strong personality
- Have effective management, communication and organizational skills.
- Have a real passion for food and a willingness to learn.
- Costing skills are desirable.
Job-Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Mon- Fri, 40 hours per week ( plus 1 weekend in 3 weeks). 8am-4pm
Salary: Up to 30K depending on experience
