SEND Sufficiency Programme Lead
Rate: £648.15 per day
Contract: 6 months
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Working pattern: 3 days per week
Location: Hybrid – home working with travel across Westmorland and Furness
We are seeking an experienced
SEND Sufficiency Programme Lead to support a local authority in delivering strategic improvements across SEND and education services.
This is a
part-time interim contract working
22.5 hours per week across 3 days, with a mix of
home working, attendance in Kendal, and travel across schools and settings within the local authority area.
The RoleYou will support the council to:
- Refresh the SEND Sufficiency Strategy and Delivery Plan
- Deliver key actions linked to the SEND Reform Plan
- Provide practical support to improve SEND sufficiency delivery
- Strengthen the council’s long-term approach to SEND sufficiency planning
- Work collaboratively with education providers and internal stakeholders
Requirements To be considered, you will have:
- Previous experience delivering education or SEND programmes
- Experience working within local authority children’s services
- Strong understanding of SEND and education provision
- Ability to work at both strategic and operational level
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
