Job Description
Location: Hammersmith and Fulham
Rate of pay: £37.52 per hour
Working Arrangements: Minimum 3 days per week in the office
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Family Support & Child Protection Team in Hammersmith and Fulham.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people by delivering high-quality, child-centred social work practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake assessments, care planning, interventions, and reviews
- Work in partnership with children, families, and carers
- Liaise effectively with multi-agency professionals
- Manage a varied caseload within statutory childcare services
- Ensure all practice is in line with current legislation and safeguarding procedures
- Degree or Diploma in Social Work (or equivalent)
- Significant post-qualifying experience in statutory children’s services
- Strong experience working with children and families
- Current Social Work England registration
- Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the office
