£544.80 per day
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Appeals Officer to join a SEND team on a fully remote basis.
This is a senior-level role requiring significant experience in SEND mediation and Tribunal work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and progressing SEND appeals
- Representing the Local Authority at mediation and SENDIST Tribunal hearings
- Preparing detailed case files and gathering robust evidence
- Liaising with families, schools and professionals
- Undertaking senior-level casework and providing expert advice
- Extensive experience within a SEND Team
- Strong mediation and SEND Tribunal (SENDIST) experience
- Proven ability to prepare high-quality evidence and statements
- Confident representing the Local Authority at hearings
