37 hours per week
Fully Remote (Equipment collection required in Stafford on day one)
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Key Worker on behalf of a local authority in Staffordshire.
This is a full-time position (37 hours per week) offering £250 per day. The role is fully remote following initial equipment collection from Stafford on your first day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing Annual Reviews
- Completing Phase Transfers
- Amending existing EHCPs
- Writing new Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Managing a caseload in line with statutory timeframes
- Liaising effectively with schools, parents/carers, and multi-agency professionals
- Previous experience working within a SEND team in a local authority
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory processes
- Proven experience drafting and amending EHCPs to a high standard
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
