Job Description
Location: Barnsley (Office attendance required Monday or Thursday)
Working Pattern: Part Time – 2.5 Days per Week
Rate: £250 per day
Overview Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced EHC Co-ordinator to support a local authority in Barnsley on a part-time basis. This role requires a confident SEND professional who can manage the EHC process effectively and ensure statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and amending Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Coordinating and supporting Annual Reviews
- Ensuring plans meet statutory deadlines and quality standards
- Liaising with parents, carers, schools and multi-agency professionals
- Maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the process
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
- Proven experience writing high-quality EHCPs
- Experience managing Annual Reviews
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to attend the Barnsley office on either Monday or Thursday
