Job Description
Location: Knowsley
Hours: 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: £32.82 per hour
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SEND Caseworker to join the SEND Team in Knowsley. The postholder will provide high-quality support and case management for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SEND cases, liaising with children, young people, parents, and carers
- Coordinate multi-agency processes to support children and young people with SEND
- Provide advice, guidance, and professional support in line with statutory SEND requirements
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies
- Previous experience working in a SEND service
- Knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory processes
- Experience of multi-agency working and case management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
