Job Description
Pay: £35 per hour

We’re seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
Role Overview:
You’ll deliver a client-centred service, supporting individuals with complex disabilities to maximise their independence and quality of life within their own homes.
Your interventions will focus on:
- Adapting environments to meet functional needs
- Modifying tasks to promote independence
- Teaching essential skills
- Educating clients and families to remove barriers to daily living
- Qualified and HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with adults with complex disabilities or long-term conditions
- Strong assessment and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and equipment provision
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
