Locations: Rugby, Warwick, Stratford, Nuneaton, Bedworth, and North Warwickshire
Salary: Up to £53,769 per annum (including up to £1750 6 monthy, so up to £3500 per annum annual market supplement*)
Relocation Allowance: Up to £8,000 available (T&Cs apply)

About the Role:
Pertemps are seeking experienced Consultant Social Workers to join the Family Help Teams across Warwickshire. These roles are focused on child protection and court work, making a real difference for children, young people, and families.

As a Consultant Social Worker, you will:

• Provide guidance and oversight to less experienced social workers and family practitioners.
• Ensure all court preparation is clear, specific, timely, and of the highest standard.
• Liaise with legal services and offer both support and constructive challenge to colleagues, building their skills and confidence.
• Hold your own small caseload of families, ensuring high-quality direct work.

This is an excellent opportunity for highly skilled social workers who want to combine direct casework with mentoring and leadership, helping to shape the next generation of practitioners.

Key Requirements
✅ Professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
✅ Minimum of 4 years post-qualifying experience
✅ Strong background in child protection and court work (including preparation)
✅ Confidence in mentoring and supporting less experienced colleagues
✅ Full UK driving licence (essential for the role)
ℹ️ Flexibility required to occasionally work outside of core hours (e.g., emergency court applications).

Salary & Benefits

• Up to £53,769 per annum (inclusive of market supplement*)
• Market Supplement: £3,500 per annum, paid in two instalments (May & November) and subject to tax/NI (T&Cs apply)
• Relocation Allowance: Up to £8,000 (T&Cs apply)
