Occupational Therapist – Islington
Location: Islington Council (Hybrid – office/borough presence required)
Pay: £32.02 per hour (Umbrella rate)
Contract: Full-time Locum

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Islington Council for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their multi-disciplinary team. You’ll be working alongside Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists to deliver high-quality health and social care services to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

Care coordinate a caseload of people with varied and often complex needs.
Work in partnership with service users, carers, and families to promote independence and wellbeing.
Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective, joined-up support.
At higher grades, provide guidance and support to less experienced OTs on complex cases, as directed by the Team Manager.
Take a lead role in coordinating care, pulling in the expertise of other professionals where needed.

Requirements:

HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
Previous experience in social care or health-based OT roles.
Strong assessment, care planning, and coordination skills.
Ability to manage a varied caseload and work effectively within a team.
