We are seeking a dedicated Educational Psychologist to join the team in Waltham Forest. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, providing expert psychological advice and assessment to support statutory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to requests from the SEND Team within set timescales for statutory assessments of special educational needs.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological advice to the Local Authority to inform the statutory process.
- Carry out robust, comprehensive assessments of children and young people, identifying developmental needs and recommending effective, tailored provision.
- Take into account educational, family, and community contexts when delivering assessments and advice.
- Professional qualification as an Educational Psychologist recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Strong organisational, administrative, and IT skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships.
- Competitive £650 per day rate
