Job Description
Location: Evesham
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Drill Press Operator to join our team in Evesham. In this role, you will be responsible for operating press machinery, carrying out drilling/tapping, general assembly, packing, and performing in-process quality checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate drill press and related machinery safely and efficiently.
- Carry out duties such as machine operation, assembly, and packing as directed by the Production Manager.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure high standards are met.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety and Environmental guidelines on site.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards, ensuring equipment is kept clean and in safe working order.
- Report any unsafe operations immediately to the Production Manager.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in press-based processes is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic.
- Ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
- Good communication skills and reliability.
