⏰ Mon–Thu 07:45–16:30 · Fri 07:30–13:30
💰 £12.21 per hour
💼 Full-time, temp to perm contract
We’re looking for a reliable, safety-minded operative to carry out high-pressure water jetting (hydroblasting) to clean, strip coatings and prepare metal parts. This is a hands-on role involving hoses/lances, standing for periods, and repetitive movements. Full PPE and adherence to safe systems of work are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate high-pressure water-jetting equipment to work instructions
- Prepare/position parts, complete basic safety and quality checks
- Maintain accurate records and keep a tidy, compliant work area
- Physically fit, dependable, and alert to hazards
- Prior industrial/production experience is helpful
- WJA Safety Awareness training is an advantage (not essential)
- Able to follow RAMS/permits and communicate clearly with the team
- Consistent weekday hours with an early finish on Fridays
- Full PPE and training on site procedures
- A supportive, safety-first environment
