Sales Administrator (Maternity Leave Cover)

Hours: Monday to Friday β minimum 09:30β13:30 (20 hours/week), maximum 09:00β15:00 with a 30-minute lunch (30 hours/week)

Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover (12 months)
π§ Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service- Process sales orders from inbox to invoicing
- Update order delivery dates and communicate changes to customers
- Book transport, prepare delivery notes, and print shipping labels
- Issue build slips to production/warehouse based on available stock
- Input completed jobs into MRP system
- Issue weekly sales invoices and monthly reports
- Provide proof of delivery and commercial export documents when needed
- Liaise with internal departments and customers to ensure smooth service
- Act as first contact for incoming sales/spares enquiries
General Administration- Answer calls and emails in a professional manner
- Greet visitors and manage the sign-in process
- Enter production data and timesheets into the system
- Print and compile product packs (e.g. labels and manuals)
- Assist with report writing, record keeping, and filing
- Occasionally assist with packing and despatching spare parts

What Weβre Looking For
- Previous experience in sales administration is essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and well-organised
- High attention to detail and methodical approach
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP software (preferred)
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above)
