🔧 Assembly Operative – Full-Time
📍 Location: Malvern
💷 Starting Pay: £12.78 per hour
🕒 Hours: 39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:30
Friday: 07:45 – 15:00
Includes 30-minute unpaid lunch and two paid short breaks per day

We are currently looking for a skilled Assembly Operative to join our growing production team. This is a hands-on role assembling high-quality water heaters and boilers, ideal for someone with a background in mechanical or electrical assembly.
This full-time opportunity offers stable hours, training, and the chance to grow your skills in a supportive manufacturing environment.

🔩 Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical and electrical assembly of products in line with technical drawings and instructions
Performing pressure and leak testing
Carrying out final product testing and basic fault rectification
Maintaining quality, consistency, and efficiency in all work
Supporting various departments such as electrical, spares, sheet metal, or stores when needed
Adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines

👷 Person Specification: We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience in equipment or appliance assembly
Can confidently read and follow technical drawings
Is physically fit and capable of lifting and moving components
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Is reliable, detail-focused, and methodical in approach
Communicates clearly and takes pride in producing quality work

✅ Desirable Skills:

Experience in gas appliance or boiler assembly
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English & Maths – Grade C or above
Forklift truck licence (preferred but not essential)
Experience with product testing or troubleshooting
