Chef Manager
Here at Pertemps Network Catering, we are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to work alongside our clients in the Birmingham area.
Hours: 7 am-2.30 pm Days: Monday- FridayEnhanced DBS needed This position will require working in a variety of elementary and secondary schools, as well as care homes. You will be responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals for approximately 100 to 800 students, which will benefit their overall well-being and academic achievement.
Chef Manager Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook lunch for the students.
- Oversee food production and cooking
- Take control of the ordering
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations.
- Order and manage food supplies to ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Adapt menus to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimise waste.
- Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and report any issues for repair.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records and budget control.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
