The CAD Technician role is based in Crewe and involves the progress of new manufacturing design projects.
As a CAD Technician your daily duties will be:
- Producing drawings using 2D AutoCAD
- Preparations of parts lists, quotations and deadlines
- Procurement of materials
- Preparing O&M manuals, documenting and filing them correctly
- Feedback on the latest marketing trends
- Building rapport with clients and support any queries
- Liaise with other departments within the company
- Identify training needs to assist with your career progression
- Ensure all products are purchased in compliance
Experience/Qualifications for a CAD Technician:
- Understanding of engineering principals
- Understanding of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of AutoCAD LT
- Relative experience in pipework and valves
- Understanding engineer drawing
- Mechanical engineering experience
- AutoCAD LT knowledge
Additional Information:
- Contracted Hours: 8am-4:30pm 4 days a week
- Location: Crewe
- Salary: £23K-£27.5K (DOE)
- 30 Days holiday raising to 33 after 1 years’ service
