Pertemps Daventry are currently recruiting for a Helpdeak Administrator for one of our established clients in Daventry.
Contract- Until June 2025
Hours - Monday to Friday 4 hour per day 9:00am to 14:00pm or 10:00am to 15:00pm
Ideally 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Pay rate £15.00phr
Job Responsabilities:- You will be supporting our various product teams with the delivery and support of bespoke software applications.
- The role will involve a variety of administrative helpdesk tasks including but not limited to:
- Providing helpdesk support to customers by logging calls/emails on the inhouse system, allocating the calls to the relevant individual/team and tracking them to closure
- Providing updates to customers regarding the progress of their requests to ensure full resolution of issues
- Identifying and escalating situations requiring urgent attention
- Compiling and distributing the weekly Helpdesk reports
- Adding patches and software releases to our website Distributing software bulletins and industry updates to customers
- Other general administration tasks as required. We are looking for an organised, customer focused individual with a methodical approach to their work and attention to detail.
Candidate Requirements:- Intermediate to Advandced Excel Skills, comfortable with using pivot tables and being able to track back to the data source to help identify any data errors
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and diplomacy skills A customer focused mindset with a commitment to quality
- Excellent attention to detail
- Computer literacy with a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
- An ability to multi-task. Experience supporting software development projects and/or providing Helpdesk customer support would be advantageous.
