Civil Enforcement Officers to join a
reputable housing provider within their Parking Services team.
Rate: £16-£17 PAYE per/hr
Contract: Temporary
Working Pattern: Full-time | Shift-based (5 over 7 days)

This is a frontline enforcement role responsible for monitoring and enforcing parking regulations across on-street and off-street locations, including controlled parking zones and pay-and-display areas.
You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with parking legislation while delivering a professional and customer-focused service to residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol designated areas to identify parking contraventions
- Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) using handheld devices
- Monitor CCTV and camera-based enforcement systems
- Record accurate evidence including photographs and written reports
- Ensure signage and road markings are compliant and report defects
- Provide assistance and respond to public enquiries professionally
- Maintain communication with control teams via radio systems
- Drive or operate council-issued vehicles in line with procedures
- Report abandoned vehicles, defects, or safety concerns
- Attend hearings or tribunals where required
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, police, and external partners
Essential Requirements To be considered- Level 2 City & Guilds or WAMITAB in Parking Enforcement and Conflict Management
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience working in a customer-facing or public service environment
- Ability to deal calmly with challenging situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using handheld devices or mobile technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexibility to work shift patterns including evenings, weekends, nights and bank holidays

- Public transport is not suitable for operational patrol duties
