Our education agency is currently recruiting for a
KS1 SEN Support Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming and inclusive primary school based in Lambeth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to helping young learners thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 (Years 1–2) with additional learning needs
- Providing 1:1 and small group SEN support
- Assisting children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social/emotional development
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support plans
- Helping to create a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting
- Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum and classroom support strategies
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications (CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification, or equivalent) desirable
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
