Primary SEN Behaviour Mentor
Lambeth | Primary School | Full-Time | ASAP Start

Are you a patient and resilient Behaviour Mentor with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Primary SEN Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Lambeth.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support to access learning successfully.

🌟 The Role
  • Provide targeted 1:1 and small group behaviour support
  • Work closely with pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
  • Implement behaviour plans and de-escalation strategies
  • Support pupils’ emotional regulation and social skills
  • Liaise effectively with class teachers, SENCO and pastoral staff
  • Help create a calm, safe and engaging learning environment
  • Full-time, long-term opportunity with potential to become permanent

✅ Requirements
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN and behavioural needs
  • Calm, consistent and proactive approach
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to remain resilient in challenging situations
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Relevant TA, mentoring or behaviour support experience desirable
