Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Administrator to join our client's team in Manchester. This temporary assignment requires a dedicated individual to support various administrative tasks and ensure smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and relay telephone and email messages.
  • Filter emails and sort incoming mail.
  • File, maintain records, and archive documents.
  • Order stationery and manage office supplies.
  • Print, photocopy, and distribute documents.
  • Word process documents and prepare simple Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Organise travel and accommodation for UK and overseas trips.
  • Make arrangements for visitors.
  • Manage room bookings.
  • Service and organise regular and ad-hoc meetings and events, including booking rooms, equipment, and refreshments.
  • Collate and distribute agendas; take and distribute minutes.
  • Assist with the preparation of paperwork relating to grant applications.
  • Assist with the preparation of research papers and presentations.
  • Assist with the proactive collection of data for the Division, including grants, contracts, and conferences attended.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials.
  • Assist with the organisation of office moves.
  • Assist with the organisation of staff PDRs and other appraisals.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
