Qualified Social Worker - Assessment Team

Monday – Thursday 9-5.30am. Friday 9-4.30pm
Qualified and Social Work England Registered
• At least 2 years post ASYE experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of legislation, guidance, policy, and procedures
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft IT package
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Regular Access to a vehicle
• Significant experience in assessing children’s needs and undertaking statutory Child Protection enquiries

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Assessment team
Case holding - Around 18 cases
Undertaking C+F assessments, Care planning, presenting cases at strategy meeting/CIN meeting/CP conference and LPM.
Completing risk assessments
Wishes and feelings work with children Assessment visits to families UASC initial processes (C+F to initial looked after review)
Responding to duty tasks Information gathering from multi agency partners to inform assessment
Lone working
Preparing meeting reports and minutes of meetings
Gathering parent and child feedback
