We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a leading M&E contractor on a permanent basis in London. This exciting opportunity involves managing large-scale data centre projects, overseeing all aspects of construction and ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage full lifecycle delivery of construction projects, with a focus on data centre builds.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure effective planning and execution.
- Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and risks, maintaining full accountability from start to finish.
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards, quality guidelines, and industry regulations.
- Monitor site activity, lead site meetings, and provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Drive resolution of technical and logistical issues that may arise during the project.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation throughout the delivery process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, ideally on data centre or large-scale commercial projects.
- Solid understanding of M&E systems and coordination within complex builds.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management experience.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
