POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use visual inspection, measurement and testing to quality inspect the products received from suppliers and Operations and escalate non-conformances.
- Complete Quality Audit testing and feeding back results to the Quality Audit Supervisor/Quality Manager.
- Ensure the completion of all necessary Trial Batch verification tests and feedback results to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) group.
- To process audits to verify the successful implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Assist with management of Training to Operations colleagues in auditing and releasing of specified products.
- Leading by example for all health and safety guidelines and ensures correct PPE is worn at all times.
- Any other responsibility which falls within the Quality Auditor Position.
- Problem-solving skills. When a product does not meet standards, able to find ways to improve the production process quickly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of typical procedures and compliance to fulfil Quality Auditor duties.
- Strong numeracy and written communication skills for documenting processes and creating reports.
- Excellent visual inspection ability, capable of recognising defective parts and processes.
- Knowledge and experience of SAP preferred.
