Adult Social Worker, £32.99ph, Locality, Rotherham
Pertemps are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join the Adult Social Care Locality Project Team.
The role is as part of a focused project team in which the postholder will ensure adults are assessed/ review in a timely manner, that safeguarding concerns progress within timescale, and support secured with the minimum delay. The postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned cases, intervening with legal and procedural authority, including under making safeguarding personal principals to protect vulnerable people at risk of abuse or neglect.

Requirements:

• Experience of working with older adults and/or adults experiencing the impact of physical, cognitive, or learning disabilities
• Experience of working in community based/ locality based adult social work teams.
• Experience of undertaking care Act assessment, support planning, Mental Capacity Assessments and making best interests’ decisions where needed and able to work at pace.
• Experience of working within safeguarding policy and procedures, understand the legal remit of safeguarding under the Care Act, be able to carry out Section 42 enquiries.
• Able to undertake home visits as needed and can travel independently to and around the Rotherham Borough
