Pertemps are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Team Manager to join the Safeguarding Team. The Safeguarding Teams work directly with children and families from children who have Child in Need status through to final hearing. This includes, Strategy discussion (open cases) Child Protection Conference Review and Child In Need, Planning and Review and Permanency Planning. The team works on a range of legal options to support investigation and protection and accommodation and if required they will provide evidence in court and will consider using contingency planning to anticipate complexity and changing circumstances

The Team Leader will provide the operational management and leadership support across the service geographical areas supporting the Head of Safeguarding and other Heads of Service. They will be responsible for managing Senior Practitioners and Social Workers.

The successful candidate must have relevant management experience as well as significant social work practice and experience of working on safeguarding cases, including preparing for and presenting evidence in court.
