I’m currently working in partnership with a highly reputable HVAC & Mechanical specialist who have been established for over 45 years, delivering exceptional service across MOD & MOJ sites. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced
Mobile AC & HVAC Service Engineer to cover the
Midlands region.

The Role:
- Carrying out planned and reactive service, maintenance, and breakdowns on a range of commercial HVAC and Air Conditioning systems
- Working across MOD and MOJ contracts, primarily covering the Midlands (Birmingham, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, and surrounding areas)
- Occasional travel to additional sites across the wider region as needed
- Engaging with CAFM systems and providing accurate, up-to-date job reporting
- Participating in a call-out rota (approx. 1 in 6 weeks)
Requirements:
- Fully conversant with the service and maintenance of commercial AC & HVAC systems
- Must hold valid F-Gas certification
- NVQ or City & Guilds in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- Additional electrical qualifications are advantageous
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills
- Experience using tablet-based CAFM systems
- Clean DBS & Enhanced checks – must be comfortable working in secure environments (e.g., prisons)
Salary & Package:
- £38,000 – £43,000 basic salary
- Company van & fuel card (private use allowed)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
