Communications Assistant
📍 Ipswich
💰 £14.00 per hour
🕒 3–4 month contract

We are currently recruiting for a Communications Assistant to support a busy highways business based in Ipswich.Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will play a key role in delivering both proactive and reactive communications, acting as a point of contact for public enquiries and complaints while helping to improve customer experience and service perception.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Handling enquiries and complaints from the public and stakeholders
  • Supporting communication projects and campaigns
  • Monitoring customer feedback
  • Assisting with internal and external communications
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement and operational teams
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience in a customer facing role 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to handle complaints professionally and empathetically
  • A proactive and organised approach
