Part-time Finance Assistant

Near Callington Cornwall
£25,500 pro rota
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (can be flexible on days) 22.5 hours a week

A reliable well-established company are seeking a reliable and committed Part-Time Finance Assistant to join their Finance Team.

This role involves supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Management: Process purchase and sales invoices; manage supplier and customer accounts; handle credit control.
Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll, including CIS tax statements and sub-contractor payments.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements
Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
Administrative Support: Manage financial correspondence; order stationery; assist the Finance Manager with various accounting duties

What’s required

Experience working in a similar role within Finance for 2 years would be an advantage.
knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and accounting software such as Sage/Xero
Working towards accountancy Qualifications but not essential
Focused who is a good team player and good attention to detail
