About the Role

This fully office-based role is perfect for a skilled legal cashier who enjoys accuracy, compliance, and operational finance. Please note, this position is not a people management role and doesn’t involve chasing debtors, making it ideal for someone who prefers focusing on the day-to-day financial processes rather than supervising a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and supporting all aspects of the firm’s financial operations relating to legal cashiering
  • Processing client and office account transactions in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Handling daily banking, receipts, payments, and transfers
  • Completing bank and client account reconciliations
  • Supporting month-end finance processes
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal financial procedures
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure financial processes run smoothly
About You
  • Minimum 5+ years experience working as a legal cashier within a law firm
  • Strong knowledge of legal accounting procedures and regulatory compliance
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confident managing multiple financial processes simultaneously
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently in a fully office-based environment
