Job Description
Location: Knowsley
Job Type: Temp to Perm (12 Weeks)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (37 hours per week)
A well-established SME in Knowsley is seeking a Semi-Skilled Assembly Operative to join their team. This is a full-time, ongoing temporary role with the potential to become permanent. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble products according to instructions and quality standards.
- Follow assembly, inspection, and testing procedures using the correct tools and documentation.
- Maintain accurate job cards and other manufacturing records.
- Use and interpret measuring equipment as required.
- Ensure a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Provide feedback to supervisors regarding any issues encountered.
- Assist in the introduction of new products into the assembly area.
- Identify and support cost-saving initiatives where possible.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in an assembly role.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
- Able to provide two references.
