Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30, 40 hours paid per week
Pay Rate: £12.66 per hour

Role PurposeThe Forklift Operator position is essential in ensuring the efficient transportation, loading, and preparation of modular cabins for client delivery. You will assist with the seamless processing of cabins before they go on hire or return from hire, supporting the commitment to timely and quality-focused service.
Key Responsibilities- Safely load and unload modular cabins from transportation vehicles, securing all items according to safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with the workshop to select and prepare specific units as required, ensuring they meet the specifications for the upcoming hire.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on forklifts and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to ensure safe and effective operation.
- Install furniture and other equipment within the modular cabins as required before dispatch and remove items upon completion of the hire period.
- Fit and remove partitions, shelving, and other fittings based on the client's specific requirements for each modular unit.
Skills and Qualifications- B2 Forklift Truck licence is essential and willingness to upskill. B3 Forklift Truck License is desirable. No inhouse licences.
- At least 1 year recent experience is essential.
- Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or material handling is advantageous, particularly with modular or large unit transportation.
- Commitment to safety and quality in loading, unloading, and installation processes.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to handle varying tasks and adjust to changing project needs.
