HR Manager - Employee Relations & Complex Case Management
Location: South- East London
Salary: £65,000-70,000+ Benefits
12 months fixed term contract
4 Days office based (1 day home working)
We are currently seeking an experienced HR Manager with significant expertise in managing complex employee relations cases, grievance management, and challenging HR issues for a leading FTSE 250 listed Real Estate Investment Trust. About the Role:
As part of this forward-thinking company, you will be responsible for handling a wide variety of employee relations matters, including complex cases, grievance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. You will work closely with senior leadership and managers across the business to provide expert guidance, ensuring that best practices are followed, and that the organisation remains compliant with employment law. This role is critical to maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment where employees feel supported and engaged.
Key Responsibilities:
" Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
" Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
" Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on sensitive HR matters and complex casework.
" Drive the resolution of disputes and grievances with a focus on fair and consistent outcomes.
" Support the wider HR team in delivering high-quality HR services and initiatives that align with the company's culture and values.
" Build strong relationships across the business to foster a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Key Requirements:
" Significant experience in employee relations and grievance management, with a proven track record of handling complex, high-stakes cases.
" CIPD level 7 qualification
" Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
" Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise and influence at all levels of the
organisation.
" Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
" A passion for creating positive workplace culture and delivering exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders.
