Overview
On behalf of Buckinghamshire Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join their Commercial Waste team in team in Aylesbury. Dealing with various internal/external stakeholders to ensure a high level of services is provided.

Temporary - Ongoing
Hours - Full time, 37 hours per week Mon-Thurs 8.45-5.15 Fri 8.45-4.45
Pay Rate - £13.55 per hour PAYE
Start Date - ASAP
Location - Based from either Walton Street Aylesbury HP21 7QX OR Pembroke Road Aylesbury HP20 1DB

About the role

As an Administrator, you will have a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
  • Provide high-quality customer service for both existing and prospective clients, ensuring a professional and friendly approach.
  • Address invoicing queries and escalate when necessary.
  • Liaise with waste loaders to resolve service issues, ensuring smooth operations
  • Collaborate with senior managers and other internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of services.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client accounts and services.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, including updating systems and preparing reports.

About you

The successful candidate(s) should have:
  • Strong customer service skills, with experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in sales, particularly in a paid-for service environment.
  • Ability to manage and resolve invoicing queries efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior managers.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and communication.
